A practical thing you can do today

As a realtor, you must make it easy for potential clients to work with you. If you can also demonstrate market knowledge and build credibility while making it easy, then you’re cooking with gasoline.

Here is the exact message to send to 3 buyers in your network, circle, sphere of influence, pyramid of friendship, or whatever the heck you call it!

It’s going to start with Would a free $100,000 dollars interest you?

This can be the opening text line, email subject line, etc.

Does this feel cheesy, and salesy, yes. Is that ok? Also, yes. The reason it’s ok is because we are going to back it up with a tangible opportunity for $100k in equity.

Now, here’s the work (stuff you have to actually do:)

  • Login to your MLS

  • Find a targeted area

  • Bonus points if this targeted area is meaningful for your potential client

  • Find the average $ price per square foot

  • Now multiply by that 65% (.65 for my fellow mathletes)

  • This is your list of homes below market value

  • Take this list and you will attach it to the email below.

That’s it.

Too many realtors rely on clients to go to the IDX or Zillow and search for them. STOP. That’s your job! You need to do it for them.

So be awesome, and go to work for your clients.

By doing this, you at least show:

  • You are working and thinking about real estate

  • Have market knowledge and some expertise

  • Have additional value with access to more deals exclusive to you that they otherwise wouldn’t see
